Note: We sometimes schedule classes when we have four or five people interested, especially the primitive and hunter/gatherer classes. If you are interested in one of these classes, please email or call us. We will try to get a date scheduled. This is especially true for groups and Scouts.

What to bring:

One Day Courses

Suitable
Clothing Snacks and drinking wate
Folding knife with locking blade
Large brimmed hat for sunshade
Sunblock and/or bug screen
Folding chair Personal Survival Kit ( whatever you have) Pencil & Notepad Rain gear, windproof jacket

Two Day Course

Everything listed for the One Day plus:
Tent or other suitable overnight shelter
Sleeping bag/blankets
Sleeping Pad
One change of dry clothes
Cooking Kit/ hiking or camping stove
Flashlight Food for 4 meals I have some loaner tents and sleeping bags if anyone needs them.

Location

Our training site is on private, gated and very secure property about halfway between Hobe Sound, FL and I-95. You take Bridge Rd, to 138th. The physical address is :6222 SE 138th St, Hobe Sound, FL 33455 There is a metal gate at the entrance and I'll have a sign out front ( GESS) to mark the entrance. Click here for a link to MapQuest We park our vehicles right at the camp site so bring whatever you think you'll need to be comfortable. We have a modern toilet and a shower with hot water on site near the front gate.
